Tony Junior’s journey into the world of music began at a young age, driven by an innate passion for rhythm and melody. Born and raised in Utrecht, The Netherlands, Tony’s early exposure to a wide range of musical genres paved the way for his distinctive sound. At the age of 12, he left school to become a professional drummer, teaching music classes and performing with bands.
He broke onto the scene in a major way with a string of huge collaborations with (amongst others) Tiesto, Nervo, Kura, DVBBS and Steve Aoki. Ever since, Tony has kept releasing non-stop on some of the world’s most respected record labels, like Spinnin, Dim Mak, Musical Freedom, Maxximize, Dirty Workz and Smash The House.
Tony Junior consistently keeps his fans excited with fresh music. In 2023, Tony released and collaborated with both established and emerging artists to expand his musical horizons. One of them is a hardstyle remake of the hit song “Kids” with Steve Aoki. In the same year his track with Da Tweekaz and Sound Rush hits 10 millions plays on Spotify only! Which is an incredible achievement in the hardstyle sound.
In 2023 Tony played all around the world including major festival Ultra Miami and a full summer tour around the Mediterranean.
Tony’s 2024 music planning is already full as can be. First up will be a true monster, a hard remake of “The Scientist” by Coldplay. Tony will follow this up with a true avalanche of high profile collabs, amongst others one of them with Timmy Trumpet.
Tony has a strong presence on social media. His TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channels, where everyone can catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his crazy life, reach hundreds of thousands of people every month.
In his home country, The Netherlands, Tony is also a huge mainstream media star. A regular guest on many major TV and radio shows, his antics are always headline news. For example, during Covid, he starred in “The Bachelor”, which caused virtually every tabloid blog and vlog in Benelux to have an opinion about his love life.
Tony tours globally and year-round. His tours took him from Asia to Europe and beyond and featured shows at Tomorrowland, Ultra, Mysteryland, Marenostrum XPerience, It’s The Ship, ISY Festival China, Dance Valley and many more amazing festivals and clubs.
